| The National Trust
The National Trust looks after the largest and most important collection of historic gardens and cultivated plants in the world. More than 200 National Trust gardens are open to the public throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Garden and countryside tracker packs are also available at over 25 gardens listed on the Trusts children's website www.trusty.org. These include measuring a tree trunk to work out its age, guessing which woods come from which trees and identifying different bugs and birds.
